Maine Outdoor Film Festival (MOFF)
Call for entries! The MAINE OUTDOOR FILM FESTIVAL (MOFF) is accepting submissions that celebrate the active outdoor community. 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP)
In the 2013 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP), filmmakers from all over the Portland area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world for the title "Best 48 Hour Film of 2013". Maine Deaf Film Festival
Call for entries! The 11th Annual Maine Deaf Film Festival (MDFF) is accepting entries for the 2013 MDFF Festival! The festival will take place Friday, April 12th and Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the University of Southern Maine’s Talbot Lecture Hall [Luther Bonney Auditorium]. They are also partnering with a workshop being held Thursday April 11th and all day Friday April 12th. Camden International Film Festival (CIFF)
Submissions now open! CIFF is now accepting submissions for its 2013 festival. We’re looking for nonfiction features and shorts, as well as work that lives on the margins of the documentary form. If you’ve got a film, we’d love to see it and hope you will submit. Our programs include a feature competition, emerging cinematic vision competition, shorts programs, best of fest program and an experimental program that aims to push the boundaries of what a documentary is. Lewiston Auburn Film Festival (LAFF)
The Lewiston Auburn Film Festival (LAFF) returns April 4 - 7, 2013. The world premiere of The Peloton Project will take place opening night of LAFF on Friday, April 5th. This year’s festival will kick off early on Saturday, January 12th, with a series of student film competitions leading to the finals, which will be held on April 6th as part of the third installment of the annual festival.
