AFI Festival Comes to Waterville April 17-19

The American Film Institute's Project 20/20 will come to Waterville for film screenings and events from April 17 through April 19.

Project 20/20 is an international initiative designed to enhance cultural exchange, understanding and collaboration through filmmakers and their films from the United States and abroad. Other cities participating in the project this year are St. Louis, Honolulu, New Orleans, Dallas and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

In Waterville, Project 20/20 will be held in partnership with Lumina, a new, three-day festival of film, food, live music, and fun sponsored by the Maine Film Center. For more information about the two events, go to the Maine Film Center's website at http://mainefilmcenter.org/.
